Reading Around the World

I love to travel, but there were many periods in my life where travel wasn’t always possible.

I have never been, and am still not a full-time traveller – and never will be. I have a home base, a husband, a mortgage and two kids, and I like it that way.

I love having a home base to curl up to each night, both at home, and when I’m on the road. I discover so much not just by travelling, but in between the pages of hundreds of books I’ve read.

My desire for travel stems from more than just a desire for a vacation; I love to discover and experience new places. Reading is one of the ways I’ve been able to do that, during my travels and while I’m at home.
