The South Simcoe Railway is a historic train in Tottenham that has been providing leisure rides for over 30 years.

The Easter Express involves the coach being festively decorated for spring, and a visit from the Easter bunny who sits down with each family, and hands out some chocolate.

I’ve been riding the South Simcoe Railway at Christmas since I was a kid, and they were memories that really stuck with me. It makes a unique and fun Easter memory for your family.

Tickets for the Easter Bunny Express go on sale March 4th. Visit their website to purchase.

Sometimes there is also a small vendor market and there is also a farm store to do some shopping of locally-sourced food products and gifts. So, I recommend coming with your wallet handy.

There are usually outhouses on-site for public use at Sheldon Creek’s events, but there can sometimes be lineups. I recommend bringing a portable potty if you’re coming with potty-training toddlers.

Like other Easter events in town, don’t forget your Easter basket or Easter reusable tote bag for kids to use for the egg hunt.
