I live close to Canada’s Wonderland and have been going there all my life. I’m very familiar with Vaughan (the city where the park is located, just outside Toronto) and how its changed over the years. I visit quite often for errands, take transit into the city, or to visit Wonderland.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any hotels right beside Canada’s Wonderland. The neighbourhood is mostly residential, with houses, condos and restaurants.

- drive about 10 minutes to the park. (From some of the hotels, you could walk, but it would take 40 minutes.)
The closest hotels to Canada’s Wonderland are Aloft Vaughan Mills and Novotel Toronto Vaughan which are 9 minute drive from the park, and a 40-minute walk. They both have swimming pools, and a free breakfast and a similar price range – around $150 per night.

Aloft Vaughan Mills is right across from the Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre, a major mall. From the front of the hotel, you only have to walk across parking lot to Vaughan Mills if you want to go shopping.
You can drive to Canada’s Wonderland in less than 10 minutes, and also walk to the bus station (to take public transit to Wonderland) in only 10 minutes.

Novotel Toronto Vaughan has a slightly more elevated feel than Aloft, but both hotels are very nice and new-looking.

Good to Know: The above two hotels are the closest to Canada’s Wonderland in distance. You can drive in 10 minutes, walk in about 40, or take a bus to Wonderland from Vaughan Mills Terminal which is a 10 minute walk. The below hotels are similar driving distance, but only because of their proximity to the highway 400. You wouldn’t be able to walk, and it wouldn’t be feasible to take public transit from the below hotels.
