Sweden

Sweden is one of the northernmost European countries. Famous for things like IKEA, Volvo and many other inventions, Sweden has great industry, but also beautiful nature.

When you’re driving through Sweden, it feels like every corner you turn brings you to another lake. In the summer, Sweden experiences a midnight sun – and the opposite in winter: almost 20 hours of darkness.

Being half Swedish, I’m very lucky to have grown up visiting Sweden five times, between my preteen and adult years. My most recent trip was bringing my husband and two children with me to explore our family history.
