However, I’ve realized that staying even closer makes it much easier to do all these other unique things that are missed by many tourists to Ireland.

How Long Should You Stay?

I recommend staying in the Cliffs of Moher area for at least 2 nights, and even adding a 3rd night if you have time.

At least one full day will be needed near the village of Doolin; to stroll through the town, take photos of the colourful buildings, do the cave tour, the cliff walk, and visit the chocolate factory.

The Cliffs of Moher themselves can be seen in just a few hours, but staying nearby gives you the most flexibility on when you visit and to go at your own pace while you’re there. You also may have the special, once in a life opportunity to see them at sunrise or sunset which is the dream of many.

Staying near the Cliffs of Moher gives you time to really focus on these other gems, that are usually missed by most tourists.
