Ireland
I’d always heard that Ireland was beautiful – but when I went there, I was truly amazed. The beauty is so otherworldly, and goes beyond just the ‘rolling greens’ that Ireland is famous for.
I loved visiting the medieval cities, and learning about the history that goes back to the Viking and even the Celtic era (who inhabited Ireland before the Vikings.) There are also a lot of small towns with painted houses and thatched roofs, and abandoned castles, making you feel like you’re in a fairy tale.
I’m sure some Irish may roll their eyes at this, but we found everyone in Ireland so nice. There were always people offering to help us – everyone, from those working at the airport, to Burger King or at the landmarks always seemed so kind and happy.
We loved Ireland, and sincerely hope that our guides can make your trip as memorable as ours was.
